The poles are designed for ease of maintenance. All of the lower components are readily accessible from the ground and contained in a locked safe within the pole itself. All of the upper components are secure fastened but allow easy access if maintenance is required.

We use two 50 watt panels set in a specially designed arm to allow maximum capture of the sun's rays in both summer and winter and also from early mornign to late afternoon. The adjustments to this arm can be performed in minutes to proper alignment no matter what the position the pole is directed. The solar array can be adjusted to maximize solar energy collection year round.

Our wind turbine (genset) has been uniquely designed for the LUMI•SOLAIR and it can generate power in very light to very heavy wind loads. From 2.5- 161 mph our wind turbines will continue to operate.
