Letter from the President

There is no motto I have followed more passionately than to pursue change and innovation. Four decades ago, I entered the photography industry by inventing new industrial processes to streamline commercial photo processing. From then on, I have made sure that each successive decade at Duggal has been marked by massive technological leaps that significantly raise the bar for the entire visual industry. It is not just a deep personal commitment to excellence that drives us, but also the challenge of creating products and services that no one has imagined before. It is this passion that led me to spend the last two years developing Duggal's new business arm—Duggal Energy Solutions.

Duggal Energy Solutions builds upon our decades of technical and market expertise to develop innovative solutions to address the tough climate issues that face us, the most important of them being energy effciency. As part of our company-wide sustainability initiative we took measures to assess the environmental footprint of our company and products. We realized that if we want to address sustainability at a wide scale, we would need to focus on developing unique off-grid solutions that can be easily deployed in the near-term.

With this goal in mind, we developed LUMI•SOLAIR, a masterpiece of sustainable engineering that combines solar panels with a wind turbine and LED lights into a stand-alone streetlight. LUMI•SOLAIR can be installed on site within a matter of hours with absolutely no need for traditional power grid connection. There are several unique features of LUMI•SOLAIR that are highlighted in this brochure, but among my favorites is the fact that this completely off-grid clean technology based product can immediately eliminate the CO2 emissions-caused by generating power for on-grid lights that are currently the standard across all cities in America.

LUMI•SOLAIR is just one of several products we are developing at Duggal Energy Solutions, to target segments in which we can have the most impact with energy-eficient solutions. Duggal Energy Solutions is developing customized energy solutions for our customers’ commercial or residential applications.
